“My gorgeous Nan, Michele, grows all the flowers I sell on her property, about 30 minutes from Yamba. Every flower is hand-planted, picked, and nurtured by her. I started selling flowers because I realised how much joy and creativity I get from arranging each bunch. Visiting Nan always meant leaving with a bucket of flowers, the car filling with their fresh scent. I’d spend the evening arranging them, then wake up early to deliver them to customers whose faces lit up when they saw the colourful bunches. I love seeing how something so simple can bring so much joy, and I’m grateful to share this passion with Nan, learning from her along the way.”
“I love how comfy these overalls are! I secretly love that they’re white. Normally, I’m not one to let a stain sit on something white, but with these, I actually enjoy getting them a bit dirty. Seeing secateurs in my pocket and green whip marks on my thighs from stems resting against my legs—it all tells a story. It’s tiring in the middle of it all, but by the end, it’s so worth it.” - Zeah
